I have not heard the Plant disc yet, but I've got new music here from Bruce Springsteen and Weezer, two artists I generally like a lot.  Springsteen isn't growing on me like "The Rising" did, and the new Weezer has to be the least of that band's efforts to date.

I want new music with excellent lyrics and a bit of an edge.  Nothing to fall asleep to, though it does not have to be loud.  I like the new Ben Folds disc, but many songs are dampened & slow.  Some time soon, I would like to rock.

How is the Freedy Johnston CD that you mention?  I have not heard that one, but I really dug "This Perfect World" a few years back.
