I concur with Jeff's Freedy comments... the outtakes disc is a lot of fun. Freedy is way overdue for a new disc - the last studio record, Right Between the Promises (which I really like), was released in 2001. BTW, that album cover's photo was at a hotel, right in front of the room where a prostitute was murdered. Freedy of course denies having any prior knowledge, but to know him is to know he doesn't give a straight answer for anything.

I'd be surprised if his next album wasn't produced by Butch. Freedy does use Butch's Smart Studios, and the two play together in the horribly good cover band The KIAB.
