For one thing, read the US Constitution; there is a provision in there that the Senate gets to Advise and Consent to judges; the President does not get to just appoint them.
Next, of these minority judges the Dems have problems with go and examine their voting records. The one female black judge has an terrible record when it comes to ruling against corporations. The complaint of this woman also has nothing to do with her race; it has everything to do with her rulings.
The last thing to consider is to imagine that in our life times these positions will be reversed - and frankly, there are some hard core liberals out there that I think would need to be filibustered just as much as some of the hard right conservatives.
