I feel your pain. We lost Riot, my faithful and brave companion for
14 years, and Beker's stalwart friend for 8 years, and Sarah's for
about 9, a little less than a year ago. He was happy to go, at the
end, I think, but we still miss him. Beker has a treasured stuffed
dog, a black one. Its name is Riot. We got Mona about three years
before Riot died, and she's been a delight and a comfort.
