If it seems I'm accusing all Christians and or anybody making a living of bad behavior, I offer my sincere apologies. Really, that's not what I meant to do. I was talking about the obviously greedy and wholly unrepentant for the damage they cause bunch that calls the shots and also anybody who supports them. I guess I say things the way I do because I'm trying to make a point and make that point stick and also because I can become so disgusted when I read the papers. I also find it sad that people who claim to be Christians would turn their back on Mr. Boyd for what he said and I think that speaks volumes about where Christianity is these days.

I do believe though that Capitalism is a breeding ground for gluttony and we've let the gluttons have total control. You have to ask who is running the show right? The old "follow the money" still says it all.

The whole junk food bit was just to make a point...that we have not reached the point where we're really concerned or connected to what's happening in the world. People love to shout about hypocrisy though, it's become a favorite topic. I'm just going with the idea that we're all hypocrites, we're all responsible, there are no innocent bystanders. So, who gives a damn about hypocrisy. In all honesty fuck it. I'm not saying we have to feel bad about who we are but this whole country is like a naughty child that needs to be broken of its bad habits. We can't begin to correct the problem until we take responsibility for it.

The United States is the biggest offender when it comes to gluttony. We burn through resources like there is no tomorrow...and that's our gift to the world. Somebody has to say it and say it again and again and again. When you scold your child for bad behavior it's not because you don't love them...it's because you do. It's the gluttony that's killing us. Not abortion or stem cells or same sex marriage. I think people understand this but like spoiled children would like to ignore it. Hiding behind a bible seems to be one of the favorite ways of avoiding the truth...I'm not saying that's what you are doing Green...I know you wish to be a faithful servant of your king...but what's worse to you, a guy like me or a person who claims to be what you are and undermines Christianity and really all of humanity every step of the way?

Abortion, same sex marriage, stem cell research...these are not problems that are destroying our world and while people run around screaming and wasting time on bullshit our Capitalist leaders are making sure all the right people stuff their pockets full of cash and babies starve, and bombs are dropped, people are shot, and more bombs are made and more money is spent to make better bombs and babies starve and we keep producing more and more junk food and disposable this and disposable that and our politicians try to sell us on the idea that Republicans are tougher on defense but since Eisenhower was president it has not mattered who was in office we've spent billions upon billions on defense and babies starved and we've become more and more wasteful...and we want nukes we can use and a star wars missile defense system because we have to spend billions on making them and people will get even more outrageously rich and babies will starve and people will scream about abortion while our resources vanish...but all the war, plague, disease, famine, ethnic cleansing, it thins the herd right?

It's a sunny day here. I'm going to go out in my yard with it's freshly mowed lawn and lay in my hammock and read a book. Maybe fall asleep and dream...some beautiful dream of babies playing on a beach or sailing on a boat or walking along the Seine in Paris. Not likely I'll save the world today...maybe tomorrow.
