Mmm. Old Rod was really really good a long long time ago. His first
two solo albums still hold up, especially Gasoline Alley. After that
weeelll.. it was all Hot Legs and a working class bloke who suddenly
discovered he could get a date with Britt Eklund (and really..who
couldn't?)But you're right. It was Beck. Still the classiest and most inventive of
the Yardbirds triumvirate.
