To tell you the truth I haven't listened to many of the recent ones. I've
always found his albums to be really uneven, though I love his
playing.Still love "Truth" though from about 1968. And he did an amazing
straight ahead rockabilly album some years ago ( had a painting of a
Vargas girl on the cover- I don't recall the name of it) The guitar
playing was not flashy the way he gets: just flat out picking. Really
amazing.Anybody else have recommendations re: Mr. Beck?
