Come on Pat,

How can you sit, listen and really hear and interpret the meaning DB's music and really be able to separate his politics from much of his music?

To me, this is one of the differences between a songwriter and artist versus that of someone able to string together words and music in a pop fashion.

It's like Springsteen's music - if you can't determine his politics, then you are not accurately interpreting much of his work - just like DB.
