What a lovely family, & the bovine are happenin too.  Don’t know why, but Astra, Artemis & Queenie are stand outs…lol.

A friend I used to do carpentry/construction with introduced the folks & I to a dairy farming family a few years ago.  The son, who I’m told is mutinying against dad’s notions of him taking over the farm, gave us an in-depth tour one evening during a party.  Much of the tour was spent in the insemination barn.  He showed us the ‘straws’ of cataloged semen stored in ¿liquid nitrogen tanks?  The artificial vagina & the artificial insemination procedures are…umm…peculiar, to say the least, but he said neither the heifers nor the bulls really mind it…so good enough…as long as the humans are cool wit it too….  :o)
