While your objective to see military dispensation be no longer afforded [mainly] to the children of the privileged…is an admirable & bravehearted proclamation, the one little problem I have with the notion of prerequisite across-the-board service…is the simple fact that military personnel are governed under the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice), which can be frivolously summed-up as antithesis to the Constitution.  A sort

of “limited rights” and “guilty until proven innocent” arrangement, that kind of thing; …including the idea that military personnel are government property…to be dispensed with accordingly.  So, under your recommended program, all able bodied males & females in the US will wave their rights to the Constitution…until they’re in their 40s.  Call me fussy, but I still think the Bill of Rights is a nifty piece of truly inspired human legislature.  All able bodied men & women being created equal, under this plan, all would be equally government property.

But if, in fact, Senator’s sons would then also bear the burden of being rifle carrying patriots to liberty & corporate interests they may also serve to inspire those powers who’s aim is to be at war…to put more credence into viable notions of peace.

So, although…I disagree in theory, you may be winding somewhere along a right minded trail.  [JMHoi-polloiO]
