Oh noooooo. not our VA! (VA is where I work by the way). Actually the VA has been looked at compared to hospitals in the private sector by JCAHO, and we fare pretty well or better in some regions of the country. There are isolated horror stories, but overall the VA does provide excellent healthcare. Really, we do.
