Prince was brilliant, as usual. I've seen him live and he works hard for his money.

Of course he's borrowed from Hendrix and Little Richard and James Brown. And the Stones borrowed from Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters. And the Beatles borrowed from Carl Perkins and Roy Orbison. And Hendrix, who played in Little Richard's band borrowed from LR.

The point is he made something original out of all that. And his style and chops are in turn being "borrowed" from other musicians, most of whom can't hold a candle to him.

My vote is with Prince. Gene, time for your colonic....
