Andrea,as i'd said earlier in this thread...this ruling by the supreme court doesn't really change anything. your friend could still have had the other type of late term abortion where the doctor dismembers the child in utero and then removes the pieces. different method but the same result. in the case of your friend, you said that the child had no brain (if i recall correctly). there is no life to kill if that's the case.late term abortions are infanticide and how we've come to accept them in our society is troublesome to me. is there really any difference in ending the child's life in the womb or outside it? i suppose that's what i'm trying to understand from those of you who support this. you'll have to forgive me for wanting to occasionally bring this subject to the surface. the war in iraq is kicked about here endlessly. it's only natural that we revisit other issues as well. Andrea, i understand that one size does not fit all and that some people aren't going to be happy with what they perceive as an erosion of their rights if the court continues to chip away at the status-quo with respect to abortion. i happen to believe that the unborn also have rights but because they can't speak for themselves doesn't mean we are free to trample them.Kevin g
