Well, I'm not big on rum so I guess I'll go with the Cava, Gene.I didn't think he'd really get in but now it looks like he will. At this point I feel like we really need him because Hillary is picking up steam and is the clear leader on the Dem side right now. The Republican candidates all blow so I think a Democrat will win this next election. I can't believe so many people support Hillary and I'm still leaning toward her not being able to win the early primary vote but my own hopes may be clouding that judgment. The machine just seems to keep pushing Hillary at us and worst of all Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse endorsed her. I was afraid of that because Wild Bill had appointed him as a US Attorney at one point and I felt like Hillary would be calling in that favor...she probably would make him AG but that's still not enough to get me to support her for president. There are some other interesting things going on that perhaps I'll post about later. Heard about the possible Mike Bloomberg/Chuck Hegel independent ticket? Some folks think Bloomberg's gonna do a Ross Perot only it might be even bigger. I don't know about that but a lot of folks want an independent ticket. He's got the dough and the people are pissed off at Democrats and Republicans. I feel like if the last two presidential elections taught us anything it's that you better vote Democrat if you want to begin to work toward any kind of change. Things are just too neck and neck and we get an Ohio or Florida disaster deciding our fate. That's just not right.
