Ha, Pat...we probably agree on a few things here. I also don't like Hillary, don't think Obama can win, and that has left me as an Edwards guy by default. Edwards does not have the money Mrs. Clinton or Obama does and that means if Gore gets in Edwards is done...he pretty much knocks him out. It'll hurt Obama too and Gore will be able to compete with (and maybe beat)Mrs. Clinton when it comes to raising cash. After all Obama kept up with her and the grassroots internet support was all him, Hillary could not touch him in that catagory. Those folks probably shift to Gore once he's in--he's got big support on the net--plus he'll do well with folks with deeper pockets too.

I don't know about your Republican crew. I thought you were a Rudy guy and the Christian Right don't dig him. Romney is a wonderful liar and I know a lot of folks from your side of things loved that about Bush but the Christian Right liked Bush, they don't like Mitt. Fred Thompson is just a puppet and seems like a clown but he gets a free pass from the Christian Right nuts...so is Rudy still your guy?

If Gore gets in and beats Hillary in the primary stuff...he's our next president.
