Okay Reg. I have to step up and take the challenge....First, of course it's a surreal, obscene, bureaucratized, armageddonized over-reaction to pull firearms
on any unarmed American for holing up with eighteen years worth of food, water, and medical
supplies and a headful of libertarian fantasies about jack-booted thugs and black helicopters because
they won't pay their fucking taxes. Why would you kill anybody for being paranoid and stupid?Instead, surround their compound and wait (for eighteen years) for their food, water, gasoline. and
boredom threshold to expire and then arrest them and present them with a bill for the siege.I certainly don't want these nutty people killed on my tax dollar. Too many Iraqis have already been
dispatched on my contributions.I think about the Scandinavian countries, where people are taxed a lot more than whiny Americans but
they're also provided universal health care and a 'floor' of social support that doesn't leave them
destitute when they have used up all their own resources. These 'holed-up Americans'- these 'rugged individualists'- are sad and pathetic. They certainly don't
deserve to die for their social misogyny but they don't need to be made into martyrs either...oh, and that interview clip of the naked fat guy in the naughahyde chair... it gave me the creeps. I
could only imagine the ripping sound when he stood up to leave.... eek!
