as a taxpayer road user public servant handshaker school attendee cetera cetera, I think they should just pay their taxes and got on with another [more viable] determined tack with this same sort of enthusiasm. But you’ve got to admit they are holding court at the red pulsing blistery bulge of a zit that has been in dire need of a good ol fashioned popping for a long time. Will they martyr themselves to lunacy or scratch the surface?
So [IMHO] a little support to our fellowman might not be a poor choice, here. I hear ya though, …it’s perhaps a bad battle…but they are at least battling and risking their necks to try & make a dent in what may be, probably is, a repressive state of affairs. What gets me is this is a “family” who doesn’t appear to be destitute or incapable of paying their “fair” share. But they have this ax to grind (& they’ve established a small bit of solidarity) all for the sake of what? What are they really so passionate about, Ross? & is their passion something that has some guidepost to a new renaissance graffitied all over it with parallels and platitudes and longitudes and latitudes from molehill to neighborhood hovel or hotel? I have no problem at all with meaningful taxation; it’s always made a lick of sense to me. Not sure our taxes have been well-used for decades.
It’s always kinda gotten my goat that the important notions the Billy Jack enterprise attempted, so wholeheartedly, to bring to light…just slipped between the cracks…like yesterday’s side-dish, & what John Lennon tried so vehemently to say ~~ when he coulda been passin the monkberry moon delight in a sunny clime with ‘is ol chillin pal Paulie instead of banging his head so farging hard against the din, & I won’t list them but there have been so many passionate walkers of oddity walks that appear so futile a waste of blood, sweat & tears…but probably were/are vital…somehow. No? …I don’t know.
...gota go...late
