I appreciate your ranting and raving, for I agree with all you go on about and therefor I get to read it and go yes and thank you for spewing what I would like to spew, but you do it so well. I must admit that at the moment I am in retreat. Trying to see which way the water will flow...sorry PK...and it has been raining here in FL alot. Yesterday was a very strange day. For some reason a switch in the electrical hierarchy caught on fire and in doing so shut down a portion of Tuirkey Point...our nuclear power plant. This caused a good portion of Miami, including the airport, and places as far away as Orlando to lose power. 2.4 million without power at one point. And everyone went a bit mad. Especially in Miami. The news stations did nothing but show the highways and byways for 4 hours, for those of us that could watch it. They came out with stories like all of the Miami schools were on lock down, when actually, they just were waiting to see how the traffic would flow before releasing the schools buses. A few people died, some more were robbed and it was unseasonably hot and everyone went outside. And homeland security was mentioned. Tonight they are predicting the temp is going to fall into the 30's and there will be hail. Oh, and the electric company still hasn't explained why what happened happened. I don't know seems to have become the raison d'etre.
