I'd like to get something off my chest....

I'm not trying to put something out there to get sympathy or pity.

But I am so fucking, utterly disgusted over the entire bullshit "debate" that is going on about the existence of the so-called "death panels" and "death books."

Call me naive or full of shit, but what I want is a god damned media to call these fuckers who spread these lies on their shit and to then quit covering these bastards.

Sen. Grassley who recently made comments about a government wanting to put to death "Gramma" should be ran out of office. The media and anyone with half a brain should be tar and feather these idiots.

What is so wrong about experienced people who deal with death every day counseling those who do not? And what is so wrong with counseling people with terrible disabilities about how they might feel or think about their health and life?

To prove my point, here is just one example: how many people out there know that powers of attorney end at the exact moment someone passes away? Do people out there know how hard it is to deal with a loved one's estate when they pass away without a will? Do these cold heartless bastards know how to deal with a person's estate, property and money when they pass?

Do these people even know how to properly fill out a small estate affidavit?

This stuff is not about prematurely "killing" people. It is about taking care of people. And for those that say crap like "the government should not be involved in this," I say, wait until you deal with the death of loved ones. Wait until you have to deal with the all ready existing levels of bureaucracy and wait until you find out how uncaring those levels are.

And when you do, you'll be wishing there were some god damned compassionate people out there who could have shown your family the way during a terrible time.
