Do I believe rightness, correctness, decency, goodness even, can or will overcome the categorical status quo of the past umpteen decades of human interaction ~ evolution in the very near future..or ever for that matter? 

Hmm. Well, …in the same way that I do not believe there is a planet far-far away where good Jor-EL presides over a vital Supreme Court of truly benevolent beings who wear a symbol of Hope on their chests and family crests, I have a stinking feeling nothing short of a complete catastrophe will sway the bowers that pee today. …I mean, …I hope. …I even pray…OM………  >>Yeah, BUT the proof has been in the pudding for far too long.

AS a mentor once learned me, I DO always try to listen to the screams and believe others even more courageous do too.  …But it’s a crapshoot, isn’t it?  Most everything I think of…& write down in earnest, thinking it’s an original theory, philosophy, or idea, regarding the constant human condition, it isn’t but a day or a week or a month until I read or listen to somebody else’s same or similar take from months or years or DECADES before, with more detail & graver answers to paramount tribulations.  It is shocking, having tried to think it through, feeling like I’m on to something poetically correct, only to find it said better a decade or a century ago. & YET obscured by the clamber and the din.  & so I often find myself wondering what the heck I’m even doing here, what the heck was the point of my birth, what the F-ing heck are we all really learning?  & EVEN THAT feels like plagiarism!  Froggies in the pot, getting hotter by the hour.
