Both of those are on my list to see. I'm actually more interested in the Polanski, mostly because I've sort of ignored his last several films (couldn't even tell you what they are), and I feel like I've "over-Scorsese'd" lately. That and it's hard to get my wife to go to what is being marketed as a horror movie.

I don't know how much you are into foreign films, but I saw "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" a couple of days ago. There are a couple of really graphic rape scenes, but even with that I give this film a very strong recommendation to those who aren't opposed to subtitles. The ghost of Hitchcock was definitely hovering around this one as well. This is the first in a trilogy of films made from some novels by Stieg Larsson, and I'm seeking out how to see the other two. Apparently it's going to get remade (and likely dumbed way down) by a Hollywood studio with George Clooney rumored to take the Michael Nykvist role.
