OK, so interesting timing where you could point at many factors for him getting canned. FOX just had to make a giant payout to Dominion, and within a week they fire their lead on-air liar. OK, maybe this is part of why he was fired. Tucker also wanted to double down on the lies, which to him is the correct strategy to take when you are caught lying. This probably was not sitting well with management, the Murdochs, and shareholders. So, they may have fired Carlson because he put up a fight about wanting to continue to lie. 

But here's the fun theory. Carlson wants to run for president and getting fired from FOX for wanting to be a "truth teller" (meaning he wanted to continue to lie his ass off) make him out as a sort of hero to the wackos in the MAGA crowd. 

The huge problem that the Republican party is having is finding a way to pry those voters away from Trump. They thought Ron DeSantis was going to be their man. Hell, I thought Ron was going to be their man. Problem is, Ron is not the guy for the job, his numbers are tanking, and Trump regularly swats him around like Mike Tyson in his prime fighting a toddler. Ron stinks, and Republicans are rapidly coming to this realization. Not only does he stink but he has no clue how to campaign, he is not nice to anybody, he thinks his supporters are total morons and treats them as such, and he expects people to kiss his big fat ass while he shits on them. Oops, this is why some donors are backing away from him, some Republicans won't endorse him, and he looks weaker than Nikki Haley next to Trump. 

Now there is no Republican polling well against Trump. It's a slaughter. Trump is not going to walk away from running no matter what happens. So, it does not matter how many times they indict him, he'll keep running because to him it is free money, people keep donating to his campaign, and two he thinks the only way to get out of the trouble he is in is to become president again, destroy the country, and name himself emperor. 

So, if the Republicans are fishing for another candidate, someone to actually take on Trump, well...Tucker may be their guy. So, the conspiracy theory goes. 

Plus Tucker is huge in Russia for being their minister of disinformation here in the US. Wheeeeeee!
