Icon Reporting says he was fired with cause...

It was Rupert Murdoch's call apparently to fire him. On his walking papers they gave three reasons which were, I believe, discrimination, harassment, and antisemitism. I know the second two are correct, can't recall at the moment if discrimination was the first one. Yes, a lot of this was over the texts and communications uncovered in the discovery during the Dominion suit. They gave those reasons because they have the proof and I think they void his contract and eliminate having to pay Carlson any severance after his dismissal. Which is likely why Tucker immediately hired a lawyer and last I heard had not commented on his firing.

It is well known, as he apparently expresses his dislike for Jews quite often off the air, that Carlson is a big-time antisemite. He apparently put his female Jewish producer through hell with various types of harassment and antisemitic remarks, which is, I think, part of her suit against FOX. She's got the goods on him and I believe Murdoch has seen that evidence. So, firing Tucker is probably, at least in part, to blunt the lawsuits that are coming at them. Which like everything else, they probably will settle.

It will be interesting to see what Tucker does now. He may hire on with another media company, places like OAN and Newsmax I do not think have pockets as deep as FOX, plus they are also getting sued so, let's see what happens to them. It appears he will sue FOX, and maybe in the meantime do his own podcasting or something, or he could join RT, which would be absolutely glorious...I was not joking when I said they have already put out a welcome mat for him. Hey, Tucker is more loyal to Russia than he is to the United States so I think he should go for it.
