As I have aged, I have really tried to understand the meanings of words, their implication, and how others may interpret certain words within communication.

Take the "C" word - there is this one comedy called Legit on Hulu that features Jim Jefferies (an Australian comedian) and in one episode he is on a plane full of Americans and he calls another person a "cunt" and it is so funny as he tries to explain within their outrage that in Europe and Australia, all "cunt" means is a prick or asshole and not what it means to Americans.

This is just one example of how language has grown in interest to me (it also makes writing and talking quite the possible journey through a communication minefield).

One other example is how this one time while on the witness stand, a defense attorney and I had quite the debate over the meaning of the word "random" that went on for quite some time.
