That they were going to get her on the witness stand. To me, the disappointment was that with sharp, concise answer she could have put this thing to bed right there, but instead, did exactly what seasoned trial lawyers suggest a witness not do (I learned that lesson many, many years ago and never to paint yourself into a corner of your own making - that was one of best testifying tactics I fortunately learned early - always leave yourself a way out).
Well....it was clear from Wade's testimony....
