It is deadly serious. But I think at the same time some people think that just walloping Trump will put an end to fascist trends and it won’t. Even if Trump loses and I think he does then they will just redirect their efforts to other focuses. It’s not going away anytime soon and as long as China and Russia maintain their political systems as they are, more ruthless powerful people will be trying to copy the model. The Middle East comes to mind. And if or when they get their hands on the kind of advanced technology that allows America and Israel to perform extra judicial killings bloody hell we really have got game on at that point. having watched a few documentaries on the war in Ukraine and the prevalence of fighting your enemy via drones I think modern warfare is going to become a kind of hell no one can deal with.
