Some are racists, some are bigots, some are Christian nationalists, some are just obsessed with their guns, some are so filled with hate seeing misery brought to anybody else is just pure joy for them.

What I saw in the Bad Faith documentary though is that most of the MAGA people are in someway connected to the CNP through one organization or another. Many of them are connected just through their tiny rural church they go to. Yes, pretty much all are racist, bigoted, obsessed with guns, etc. but to different degrees because they are different people coming from different organizations under the Council for National Policy, so thoughtfully laid out in a long game (just like you said) in 1980.

A really amazing thing I learned (and NOT in a good way) was that all of these organizations under CNP, and therefore, part of Project 2025, made up most of the people we saw at 1/6/21. I guess they thought trump had sufficiently thrown the grenade so that they could go in and replace the finally destroyed house and senate.

I just cannot recommend the documentary Bad Faith enough. It was disturbing yet riveting, and so insightful. I also want to see God and Country (2024),  directed by Dan Portland and produced by Rob Reiner. It is streaming by still costs 19.99 to rent.
