Scott, I should not have brought up single mothers without mentioning the men who impregnate them, fail to support their offspring financially, and then fail to involve themselves in a meaningful way with the child. I am particularly worried about boys who grow up lacking a positive male role model.Too frequently, when these boys hit their teenage years, they are ripe for gang induction and the attendant criminality. Glad to see that the failings of the Reagan/Bush years have not been forgotten on this Message Board. I remember during the mid-eighties reading a humor book related to Ronnie's many gaffes titled "The Clothes Have No Emperor". Given what we now know about his alzheimers (sp?) I wonder when in his presidency that it first appeared and which advisors covered for him.
