as far as me proving some point of yours, however, i'm heartened that you are finding some measure of personal validation in this rather lonely struggle of yours here. it's important to perceive a little victory now and again to keep us going. but i suspect that when someone says liberal, people think of Sharpton and when someone says conservative others think of Cheney, and, sure, this influences our comments. but whatever, it ain't left or right, it's top and bottom, and to believe that those with the gold ain't using it to make the rules (that favor them) is naivety too breathtaking for words. you, on the other hand, are intelligent; that's partly why you're here, that and decent  maybe even good taste in real music.

by the way, what's your average annual gross income over the last 6-7 years? not that it could possibly affect your views, i'm just curious.
