Here in Chicago we have a new choice too. A company took three small area radio stations and simulcasts on the with the "we play anything" format.
So far they have done just that, but I can here bits of repetition creeping in. (for some reason they often play "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)" Other than that It is currently my station of choice.
The came out of The Offspring's "Hit That" and went strait into Tom Jones "Delilah" . I love that combo.
There may be a bit of hope against Corporate rock yet.
