nah. 'lighten up Francis' is classic Bill Murray, from Stripes. a variation on the theme came into being in 1983, when the Washington Redskins had just won the Super Bowl and their MVP running back John Riggins was whooping it up but good at an after-party that night. apparently, Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Conner (one of Pat and Dale's all-time faves, if i recall) was in attendance, and reportedly the last thing Riggins uttered that evening, before he pitched under a table and passed out, was something very much along the lines of 'loosen up, Sandy baby.' sweet.
