It's a very odd thing that so many people claim Plame was not covert. Fitzgerald stated yesterday that Plame's relationship with the CIA was classified there would have been no investigation if it had not been and Libby would not have had the chance to obstruct justice and commit perjury.
It is very interesting though that Libby's defense team portrayed him as a fall guy for Cheney and Rove and the jury felt that he was the fall guy. That's huge that they all are saying they got a guy but the guys that are guilty of the big crime are getting away with it.
Libby will likely never spend a day in jail, Bush will pardon him and it's all just a game of trying to stretch things out until he is pardoned. That's not the important thing though, what's a big deal is Cheney and Rove are guilty and it's likely Bush himself was involved in the Plame situation and perhaps this whole thing will provide the catalyst to get our Congress to grow some testicles and begin a full investigation of the Bush White House. They have been gutless so far and that needs to change...we need to impeach!
