"even when when I descend into vitriolic liable and name calling..."

Ehh. It's part of your charm. As is that adorable photograph of you at a young age that accompanies each of your posts.

"That said... how realistic do you think it is that you would EVER have an elected body willing to fuck with the Constitution to the extent that you're (or Ron Paul is) proposing?"

Well that's kind of the point. I mean, if you're not willing to fuck with the Constitution, then . . . STOP fucking with the Constitution! (Not addressed to you, of course, but to decades of Constitution-fuckers.)

"Ron Paul is, after all, kind of a bit of philosophical masturbation- the Ross Perot of 2007- a quirky, barometer of our discontent; soon to fade as our attention span wanders away with the next Apple release or the next Lindsay Lohan treatment attempt. In fact Lindsay Lohan would be more likely to be elected President."

I'm not above bouts of intellectual onanism. Hand me a fluffy towel, won't you? (And keep talking about Lindsay Lohan. Oh shoot, now I can't get the image of Ross Perot out of my head!)

"If a savior is what Ron Paul represents, probably best to look to the skies for Jesus to make a comeback attempt. Let's hope He's righteously pissed and has a fistful of thunderbolts handy... there is no end of likely targets."

I want to see him on stage with the vapid and vacuous "top tier," giving them a run for their money. I'd like to see his way of thinking presented to the people in a forum that actually gets viewers.

My fondest hope is not really that the guy get elected. I mean, if he did, fine, I'd probably be glad of that, but I don't hold out that hope. The hope I hold out is that somebody, somewhere notices . . . not WHAT he thinks, but THAT he thinks, since that alone has the potential to shake things up.

We need more thinkin' in our politickin'. And less of all that other stuff.
