I've got a great link around here somewhere to an essay on that topic. I'll hunt for it, as I think you would enjoy the style and find some things to agree with, and perhaps more interestingly, some parts to take apart.

I note that none of the popular textbooks on economics is written by anyone from the Austrian school. (Ludwig Von Mises, etc.) I do wonder about the degree to which we've handicapped our national understanding by teaching economics for so long in such a blindfolded way. I mean, Joseph Stiglitz? Is this the cat we want writing our economics texts?
