Come on gents, enough of the sniping, let's get a bit wonkish and offer up some thoughtful comments and remedies. I've been thoroughly respectful to you Marc and I'll do my best to remain that way. I would however like you to offer up a few specifics as to how you would improve our nation's fiscal health as I assume that that is your greatest concern (though you've mentioned several, and I think I responded to each of them). Would you simply make cuts, and if so, where? Would you consider any tax increases? A mixture perhaps? Let me offer up a short video that Andrew Sullivan just posted. He addresses what he feels is the most important issue that we face. It's time well spent, sir. I would urge everyone to watch it.

PS: Everyone should get to Washington DC for a whole host of reasons. The museums are magnificent and often free! One can't help but reflect on and be in awe of the sacrifices made by so many anonymous Americans.
