Anyone in particular in mind?  What’s this about 3 amigos…I thought there were 4 or us for sure and god knows how many lurking conservatives…I’m guessing they number well into the single digits.

I’ve been seeing the claims of AWOL/desertion pop up from time to time.  I’m not sure if the records to prove it one way or the other are even around anymore.  I dug this up for what it’s worth.  Toward the end of the page there are a couple quotes about the charges from the New York Times and George Magazine from 2000 and another from the Washington Post which all dispute the allegations.

It’s been interesting to see how quickly the tide has turned in favor of Kerry.  I could see a Kerry/Edwards ticket (especially if the younger folks stay connected) making this race extremely close.
