Kevin g:I myself just went through this very dilemma --- between the
home theatre and my bedroom --- Paula and I had fourteen
remotes total. This was simply too damn much --- the battery expense alone
was outrageous! Here is what I ended up with --- I tried a bunch of solutions
and the one that worked the best was the following:HOME THEATRE MASTER MX-700I bought two of these --- plus the mini MX-200 sidekick
remote for Paula to use on her side of the bed. These remotes are programmable through the Windows OS.
However --- I had to pay to have them programmed because I
am now working exclusively on a Mac OS X system (no viruses
to worry about!!).Before I spent any money --- I went to the Home Theatre
Forums on the web and asked around. The above remote is
what everyone raved about.I love it as well. It was money well spent as it made the tops of
surfaces in my living and bedrooms much more bearable.Hope this helps!KDB = Buffalo, NY USA
