Gene I wasn't trying to say you were an old fart...I really meant that I think that in order to really appreciate the early Beatles you had to be there...I think the excitement combined with the new sound of the songs added a level I and probably Kent...just can't get.

If it was drugs that changed their music then that's one hell of a change. I do think they got more exciting and creative as they went and the music and lyrics got a lot more interesting to me. Anyway, all those old Beatles records still sound amazing to me. I'm looking forward to the release on dvd of the "Let It Be" film and I'd also like to see them put out the John Lennon film "Imagine" on dvd.
