Reg. If you're at all interested in gaining a different perspective on the Beatles early Yeah Yeah Yeah period...I highly suggest picking up the movie Backbeat. It's about the Beatles' Hamburg days which included Stu Sutcliffe and sans Ringo. I know this is a movie...but judging from the material on the Anthology DVDs...it looks like a pretty good representation of them during that period. And then somehow track down a bootleg of the guys when they actually played Hamburg...the best known one (and the sound is pretty fab) was recorded at the Star Club....it might be the only one. Anyway - I'm not saying you should run right out and do this...but if these things happen to fall in your lap and you do listen to them....I think you'll come away thinking that their Yeah Yeah Yeah period was pretty exciting as well. I also think you appreciate the fact that the Yeah Yeah Yeah period was also when the Beatles were actually a band...four guys just playing the shit out of stuff.Dan

There are two things you need for an adventure, a treasure map and someone dumb enough to go with you.
