Agreed...and therein lies Kerry's problem. He wants, more than anything, for us to believe that he's an actual war hero, a tough guy, worthy of being the Commander In Chief, but those who really were heroes and tough guys, and really know (not us by a long shot), respect him even less than they do GWB. Because they saw it all as nothing more than a guy with an agenda - an attention whore.
After all, if Kerry truly disagreed with the war, wouldn't he have at least some modicum of respect for a guy that avoided it without calling attention to himself? Apparently not.
Seems like a hypocritical position to me.
