I was watching my favorite Orielly Factor tonight (comes on right before Hannity and Colmes). Bill's guests were a GreenPeace guy and another guest the said our production of ethynol over the next 5 years could lessen our dependence on foreign oil.

Are we in agreement up here that we need to lessen our dependence on foreign oil? I think that is a given at least I hope it is.

The tree huggers are preventing us from drilling in Anwar and if we could drill there it would deminish our dependance.
I think this would indeed lessen our dependence for a time but really isn't it time we cut back and get off our dependence on foreign oil entirely? Need to have a pig tax on these guys driving Hummers. Our own piggyness and the big Oil lobby has gotten us here. Hell we have had since 1979 to get us out of this problem.

So what is the solution boys?
