In Amsterdam, they pay $7.00 a gallon; in Venezuela, 12 cents. It's about what the market will bear and per capita income. This is another simplistic diversion about the real, larger energy problem and its ongoing implications. Let's all go see Al Gore's movie "An Inconvenient Truth" (the must-see movie of 2006) and then really talk about it.
