I really don't know why I bother to rebut but here goes....
*** Diplomat Laurence Foley was gunned down in Jordan, while getting ready to drive to the US Embassy - which is US soil. But I guess that doesn't count, does it? *** Not by any definition of "terrorism" I've seen. I'd call it murder.
*** And that shoe-bomber thing, that wasn't an attack was it? Or was that in international airspace just on the way to Miami? *** It was an attempt, I'll give you that much.
*** I'm so glad that we've totally vanquished Al Queda, and am so comforted in knowing that bin Laden has been brought to justice. *** Did I say that?
***And let's not forget the 3 children and valiant mom burned to death in their house. That couldn't be construed as terrorism, could it? *** Sure you could. But why stop there? You're on a roll. By your logic that Texas woman who used her husband as a speed bump could be called a terrorist as well, right? I'm sure her step daughter was "terror"-fied when they rolled over daddy a couple of times in the driveway.
*** And the snipers... that wasn't terrorism either, was it? *** Wrong again, cheesehead. ;-) Their intent was only to kill people. They didn't have a cause or any other beliefs in which they were fighting for.
C'mon Ian, you can do better than this.
Respectfully submitted,
Mr Knowitall
