I apologized because I see myself as a guest here. Due to that fact I feel I need to be respectful of the people who are the reason this place exists. I like coming here and I like the people here and I think it is certainly bad manners to do things that might upset Dan or David specifically. I also respect all the people who come here to post and there is a great group of people here. I know it's a blog and it's on the internet and maybe that makes people feel that they can go off in any way they wish but I have one rule for myself and that's that I don't say anything here that I would not say to a person face to face. I think it's fine to try to provoke people to give you their thoughts but I don't think every method of provoking people is ok. Some things can be more hurtful or hateful than others and that really is a bad way to go because more than getting peoples thoughts you're going to get their feelings...and if you did that in person that might mean a punch in the face.

If you said to me "Reg, I think you're a fucking idiot." that's fine and depending on what you are saying that about it might be pretty funny.

If you said to me "Reg, you're a fucking scumbag that obviously hates Christians." then you are asking for trouble. I think there's a line there that may or may not be obvious to some folks but people tend to let you know when you've crossed the line. I think pushing people to think is one thing but pushing them with "naughty words" because you know it bothers them is very different.

As far as me being honest when I post...well...if it's a seroius topic I'm always honest. What do you think I'm dishonest about?
