Screw the major label crap, as there is NO REASON why you couldn't do what someone like Ani DiFranco is doing. Start your own label, and sell direct to us, your loyal fans.

I am sure Dave's Home Studio wouldn't have the overhead that the major studios push off against the royalties.

King Crimson does something like this, as well.

Except I would recommend that you call it DBtunes, as iTunes is already being used!
