Does iTunes work with MP3 ?

How 'bout putting together an albums worth of stuff, converting it to .SHN ( Lossless) and uploading it to http://www.archive.org ?

That way we could download it and burn a cd which would sound much better than MP3. ( assuming that is how iTunes works )

We could work out trees to get discs to download challenged.

Just a thought.
