I have now asked the same question three times of three different people. There has been silence every time. I'm not surprised because the question was what makes Sarah Palin a good choice for Vice President? The answer is nothing and I think this is why people have said nothing. Of all the people McCain could have chosen there is no argument at all for going with Palin with one exception...she brings all the worst elements of this process to forefront once again. Sure the media and Christian Conservatives love her (in different ways) but that's all she brings. She can grab attention and generate a fight to divide the public. She's a creative scam to work people into a lather but she is not a candidate for VP.

This really does bother me and with the economy now surging to the forefront as the number one issue for Americans the choice of Palin should hurt the McCain campaign even more than I had predicted and I'm sure it will leave John scratching his head about why he did not choose somebody like Romney. I'm not saying that because I like Romney but at least there is an honest argument for having Romney on the ticket. There is not an honest argument for having Palin there. She serves only as a political stunt and as many people have already pointed out this is the last thing we need right now.

Does anybody want to take a shot at explaining why Palin was a great pick for VP?
