I've gotta add just one last thing about those concerts at the Mint.  They were my absolute favorite.  What stands out for me was that, at the time, we hadn't heard hide nor hair from David for the last five six years or so since triage came out with the exception of his two or three posts on the incipient message board.  Going in blind, I introduced myself and he delighted me with his cordial nature and pleasantness.  He bought a round for my sister and I for making the trip from Phoenix and then belted out what was then unfamiliar tunes from AFM.  Does it get any better then when the real man exceeds the legend?
