Oh, come on. People too often throw out the term "racial profiling" when it is not and I wish they would stop it.

And as more information of this incident is released, it becomes clearer that Gates jumped the race angle too quick and made some of his own stereotypes/prejudices strongly vocal.

It is now being reported that the original 911 caller did not cite a race because she could not tell the race of Gates and his driver. On top of that, she called mainly because she was aware of a recent burglaries in the area.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not stating "racial profiling" does not exist, but it needs to be identified when it actually happens and this is not a good test case for it.
