I for one, like them. I think what they come up with is always quite interesting and they attempt to push themselves not to fall into a trend. I know it's not for everyone and I'm sure they are probably hyped pretty good but the fact that they don't create music that is ear candy and easy to digest makes them an strange crew in todays marketplace. The fact that their songs are quite introspective is also odd for a band that has achieved such status. I think it takes time for most people to digest what they create, in some cases a lot of time. As, someone else already pointed out, not a lot of people want to invest themselves this way.
